More of Katherina & Mamen

GIF Katherina & Mamen

Here we are, on a huge stage, little fussy dance and trying to enjoy our performance. We did survive the experience and also we had fun.
PORCH experience was still there, we did not need a new meeting. A piece of PORCH was in Granada.

Intensive Workshop in Liverpool

Liverpool Improvisation Collective and Fool's Proof Theatre present:

INSTANT COMPOSITION: Co-Existing in the Space

a 4-day intensive workshop and series of performance events with Sebastián García Ferro at the Bluecoat August 31st to September 4th. Supported by Liverpool Culture's 10 for 2010 - Dance Commissions.

The workshop focuses on improvisation for performance, with specific interest in interdisciplinary performance. How can performers from different backgrounds co-exist in the space? What basic mechanisms of composition cut across disciplines to function as a common language? Open to performers of all disciplines (Theatre, Dance, Music, and Live Art).

The week will also include the artist talking about his own dance company's work and culminate in a double-bill evening of improvised performance: Sebastian Garcia Ferro/Adriana Pegorer (duet) and the workshop participants on Saturday Sep 4th.

P.O.R.C.H. is…

… Based on a true story.

Arriving. Meeting.

Getting into new habits corresponding/responding to the new environment we find ourselves in.

Falling in the back space of the rule.

Visited by men.

Something like building up houses. Depth. Dimensionality. Journey. Taking away the question mark for a while.

A spider web. 14 spiders on the web. Not all of them visible at the same time.

Trust.
